It is oil on fine linen,the small painting is held inside the frame with a couple of nails,both the portrait and frame are very old and have wear.You can see the backing structure of the painting has left a rectangular impression in the fabric,more or less visible depending on lighting,the frame is fairly rough but great like this,restoring it might take away the character. Approximately 295mm high x 260mm wide Goods can be picked up after lockdown,just use the code localcollection before checking out and you won’t be charged shipping.
