Clear guidance for buyers and sellers. Statutory consumer rights are not restricted by this page.
Meet to Buy is a local handover or collection arranged between buyer and seller. Vensle does not take custody of the item and does not run card checkout for Meet to Buy exchanges.
Inspect the item in person before you pay the seller privately. If something is wrong, resolve it with the seller at the meet where possible. Vensle cannot process a card refund for cash or private transfers that never passed through our checkout.
For safety guidance, see the Safety Centre.
Where a listing supports Delivery and you pay through Vensle checkout (when that checkout is enabled for your market), returns and refunds are handled through the order tools in your account and our support process — not by sending card numbers in messages.
Delivery charges, fulfilment method, and totals must be shown before you pay. Estimated timing depends on the listing and the fulfilment option you select.
If goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise defective, tell the seller promptly and use in-app messaging and order tools where available. You may also contact Vensle or report a problem.
UK consumer law can give additional rights depending on whether you bought from a business seller or a private individual, and on the nature of the goods and transaction. This page does not treat every private seller as if they were a retail business.
There is no Vensle-wide “always 30 days, no questions asked” return promise on every listing. Some distance-selling rights may apply to certain consumer purchases from business sellers; rights can differ for private sellers and for Meet to Buy. Check the listing, your order confirmation, and applicable law for your situation.
We do not claim automatic refunds beyond what checkout and our order process support.
If you paid the seller outside Vensle (cash, bank transfer, or another private method), Vensle cannot reverse that payment. Use marketplace messaging and our report tools for misconduct or safety concerns.
